FAQs

What are big puff vapes?

Big puff vapes are rechargeable vape kits that hold more e-liquid than a standard 2ml device, enabling them to deliver more puffs. They typically come in two formats, with some using multiple rotating pods while others come with a built-in refill container that automatically tops the pod up as you vape. Big Puff devices vary in how much e-liquid they contain, but 10-12ml is a common amount, giving 5-6 times the capacity of a standard prefilled pod kit.

Are big puff vapes right for me?

Big puff vapes suit vapers who want the simplicity of a prefilled device with fewer pod changes. What’s more, because there is more e-liquid per pod there is a reduction in the amount of waste caused by used pods.

Are big puff vapes legal in the UK?

Yes. Big puff vapes sold in the UK are rechargeable kits with replaceable pods, so they are unaffected by the ban on single-use vapes that came into force on 1 June 2025. Every pod holds a maximum of 2ml of e-liquid at 20mg/ml nicotine or less, in line with UK vaping regulations, with additional e-liquid being held either in separate pods or in a reservoir.

How many puffs does a big puff vape last?

Big puff vapes in this collection deliver between 2400 and 30,000 puffs per device, depending on the model. As a rough guide, a 6000 puff kit holds around ten times the puffs of a standard 2ml pod.

Real-world puff counts vary with how long you draw, how intensely you inhale and the mode you use. Turbo and boost modes produce more vapour but empty the pod faster.

Which big puff vape should I choose?

For most vapers we recommend the Vaporesso Dojo Blast 10K. It delivers a smooth, long-lasting draw, days of vaping from a single pod, and replacement pods are easy to find.

If you want more features, the Lost Mary Nera 15K adds a curved screen, a clear e-liquid window and a turbo mode. For the biggest capacity in this collection, the Hayati Pro Ultra+ has a huge 22ml of e-liquid for up to 25k puffs.

What is the difference between big puff vapes and disposable vapes?

Big puff vapes are rechargeable and use replaceable pods, while disposable vapes were single-use devices that were banned from sale in the UK on 1 June 2025. If you liked disposables, a big puff kit works the same way from puff to puff: prefilled, inhale activated and ready out of the box.

The difference comes when the e-liquid runs out. Instead of binning the whole device, you swap the pod or refill and carry on, which both saves money and reduces waste.
